How flexible is too much?
One of the secrets of a great spanish guitar is the flexibility you can get without having deformations. This guitar is 110 years old and is holding its curves extremely well. On the other hand look how supple it is.
Welcome!
My job becomes more and more interesting as time goes by and more collectors and guitarists bring me their treasures. This is going to be my way of sharing these wonderful guitars with anyone who wishes to see them. The first guitar I will look at is by the hugely talented Vicente Arias. (Torres, Rodriguez, Laprevotte, Lorca and de la Chica to come) In april of 2010 my friend and client Javier Riba acquired a fantastic guitar made by Vicente Arias in 1900. They say a picture is worth a thousand words so, here goes.
Javier recently released a CD recorded with this guitar so before I start boring you with how great I think this guitar sounds you can click here and hear it for yourselves.
